The State Cabinet has appointed Nalini Netto as the new Chief Secretary. She will take charge on Saturday once the present Chief Secretary S.M. Vijayanand demits office on superannuation.
Ms. Netto is currently serving as Additional Chief Secretary (Home) and Secretary to Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.
Subrata Biswas, now Public Works Secretary, will replace her as the Home Secretary.

V.S. Senthil will be the new Secretary to the Chief Minister. Asha Thomas will take over as the new PWD Secretary.
