Malayalam varsity invites application for PG courses

The Malayalam University has invited applications for its 2017-18 postgraduate courses.

Applications can be submitted for linguistics, Malayalam (literature and creative writing), cultural heritage studies, journalism and mass communication, environmental studies, local development studies, history, sociology, and film studies. The last date for submitting applications is June 30.

The entrance examination for these courses will be a one-hour objective type test which will be held at Thiruvananthapuram, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Tirur, Palakkad, Kozhikode, and Kannur. The test will begin at 10 a.m.

Admissions will begin on August 1. Twenty candidates will be admitted to a course. A separate aptitude test will be conducted for each course. A candidate can appear for a maximum of three courses. Those applying for creative writing should submit a story, poetry (two) appreciation or criticism not exceeding five pages along with the application form. Twenty marks have been set aside for this.

Applications can be submitted online or in person. Application form can be downloaded from the website malayalamuniversity.edu.in
