In connection with Vishu, Kerala Minerals and Metals Ltd (KMML) Managing Director J. Chandrabose distributed vegetable kits to 17 families with patients undergoing palliative care in Panmana panchayat in Kollam. The kits were distributed along with monthly provision kits and organic turmeric powder produced by the company. Crops harvested from the farm at company guest house that include string beans, okra, eggplant, yam, snake gourd, cucumber, spinach and banana were distributed. KMML had started organic farming in 7.5 acres as part of the Subhiksha Keralam scheme.
