Boys cornered all the top ten ranks in this year’s State engineering entrance examinations, the rank list of which was published by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations on Sunday.
The rank list is available on the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in. P. Rithul from Malappuram bagged the first rank and the second rank went to A.K. Safeel, also from Malappuram. The third rank was bagged by G.S. Haradev from Kollam. Among Scheduled Caste candidates Sidharth Ravi from Thiruvananthapuram secured the first rank while the second spot went to B. Sarath from Alappuzha. In the Scheduled Tribe category S. Raksha from Thiruvananthapuram secured the first rank while K.U. Umesh from Wayanad got the second rank.
Out of the 74,307 candidates who cleared the engineering entrance examination, 57,081 submitted the marks of their qualifying examination to the CEE. In case these marks submitted by a candidate and used for the preparation of the engineering rank list are not the same as the marks actually scored in the qualifying examination, the candidate would be disqualified and would also be liable for penal action, a press note issued here by the CEE said.
