The students’ forum of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) began functioning at the Prime College of Engineering, Erattayal, near here, on Thursday. IETE south zone coordinator C.K. Haridas inaugurated the forum. It was followed by the start of a three-day workshop on embedded systems. It was inaugurated by IETC Palakkad chapter chairman C. Pradeep. College Principal S.I. Manjur Basha delivered the presidential address. P. Nandakumar of the NSS College of Engineering delivered the keynote address.
