High drama prevailed at the first public function attended by actor Jagathy Sreekumar after his accident, when his daughter Sreelakshmi made an unexpected appearance.
The function was organised by P.C. George, MLA, father-in-law of his other daughter Parvathy, at Erattupetta, on Sunday. Ms. Sreelakshmi made her dramatic entry after Mr. Sreekumar was seated on the dais. Though Mr. George initially tried to dissuade Ms. Sreelakshmi from being with her father, he later allowed her to be with him. She left the venue after spending nearly 10 minutes with her father and talking personal matters with him. She later told media persons that this was her first meeting with her father in three years.
