Heavy traffic block on MC road near Thiruvalla

Waterlogging, coupled with the badly damaged road, has made vehicular traffic as well as a walk along the Muthoor-Perunthuruthy stretch of the MC Road a nightmare.

The stretch of the MC Road was badly damaged during the pipe-laying work by the Kerala Water Authority a few months ago.

And for reasons best known to them, the PWD authorities failed to repair the damaged road before the onset of rain.

Narrow culvert

The narrow culvert at Pannikkuzhy between Muthoor and Perunthuruthy is a bottleneck along this road stretch, causing misery to the drivers and pedestrians.
