Gandhi Bhavan director gets Balichandanam Award

Prize

Former Education Minister M.A. Baby has presented the award, comprising a purse of Rs.25,000, citation and a memento, to Mr Somarajan at a function presided over by Konniyoor Balachandran at the Gandhi Bhavan auditorium.

K.N. Balagopal, MP, inaugurated the meeting and K.B. Ganeshkumar, MLA, delivered the keynote address. T.K.G. Nair of the Pathanamthitta District Library Council delivered the introductory speech.

‘Nakshathrangalkum Mukalil,’ a children’s literary text authored by Sreebhavanam Gopalakrishnan, was released on the occasion.
