CPI(M), CPI teams visiting Nelliampathy today

A delegation of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) led by its Polit Bureau member M.A. Baby will visit Nelliampathy on Thursday to study the issues related to lease-expired and lease-violated forestland.

State secretariat members A.K. Balan and Elamaram Karim, both MLAs, are in the team. A team of five MLAs of the party led by Palakkad district secretary C.K. Rajendran had visited Nelliampathy on Tuesday.

A delegation of the Communist Party of India (CPI) will also make it to Nelliampathy on Thursday to study the land-lease issue.

The CPI team is led by Sathyan Mokeri, State executive committee member, said party district secretary Suresh Raj here on Wednesday.

A delegation of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) led by its State president T.P. Peethambaran is scheduled to visit Nelliampathy on Friday.
