Congress activists will stage dharnas in front of Central government offices in 93 panchayats in the district on May 5 under the aegis of the of the District Congress Committee (DCC) as part of the party’s agitation against the policies of the Central government led by the Bharatiya Janata Party.
The party will also hold conferences in 1,160 wards in the district from May 10 to 18.
Party activists will visit households in their respective areas and mobilise resources for holding the conferences, DCC leaders said.
