Chandrabose case: second witness gives statement

October 31, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:46 am IST - Thrissur:

The cross-examination of Ajeesh, second witness in the murder case of Chandrabose, security guard of Sobha City, Puzhakkal, started at the Thrissur Additional Sessions Court here on Friday. He repeated the recorded statement given earlier before a magistrate.

“I reached the spot after hearing the call for help by Anoop, first witness. Mohammad Nisham was attacking Chandrabose. When Chandrabose tried to hide in the security cabin, Nisham broke the cabin’s glass and attacked him with a baton and glass shard. Chandrabose then fled from the cabin. ‘Catch him, kill him,’ Nisham was shouting. Then he hit Chandrabose with his Hummer. When I, along with another security guard, reached there with an ambulance to take Chandrabose to hospital, we couldn’t find him. Nisham had taken Chandrabose in his jeep to the gate of his apartment complex. There was another vehicle near the gate. A woman from that vehicle spoke to Nisham. It was Nisham’ wife Amal. By the time we had informed the police. We found Chandrabose in a pool of blood near the fountain. I drove the ambulance to the hospital,” Mr. Ajeesh said in his statement. — Staff Reporter
