: The year-long diamond jubilee celebrations of St. Mary’s Higher Secondary School at Kizhakekara, near Kottarakara, was inaugurated by Cardinal Mar Baselios Cleemis on Friday.
In his address, the Cardinal said the destiny of a nation was moulded at educational institutions and it was important that all educational institutions operated as centres of excellence providing quality education.
Aisha Potti, MLA, presided over the function. The cultural programmes were inaugurated by K.B. Ganesh Kumar, MLA.
