President Pratibha Patil on Wednesday asked Karnataka Governor H.R. Bharadwaj to discharge the functions of Kerala Governor too as its present Governor M.O.H. Farook is on leave.
Mr. Farook, a former Union Minister, ex-Chief Minister of Puducherry and senior Congress leader, is undergoing treatment for kidney ailment and was recently admitted to a Chennai hospital.
