"I will continue my fight against fascism," she says.

Eminent dancer and social worker Mallika Sarabhai has said that she will not return her awards in the name of protest.

Addressing a seminar on the ‘Conditions of religion and human beings’ here on Saturday, she said each person has his/her own way of protest.

“I have been fighting against fascism through my art forms and other ways since the demolition of Babri Masjid. But I won’t return my awards. However, people will ask you ‘why you didn’t respond before that?’ and ‘why you didn’t respond to something else?’ This is like asking ‘why you didn’t fall in love before?’ What I have in replay is: there is a tilting point in everybody’s life when you get a trigger to respond. I will continue my fight against fascism,” she said.
