The most senior judge of the Kerala High Court, Ashok Bhushan, has been appointed Acting Chief Justice, following the transfer of Manjula Chellur to the Kolkata High Court. Mr. Bhushan, who was a judge of the Allahabad High Court, took charge as a judge of the Kerala High Court on July 10 this year. He enrolled as an advocate in 1979 at the Bar Council of Uttar Pradesh. He was elevated as a judge of the Allahabad High Court on April 24, 2001.
