An Army recruitment rally will be conducted at the Nehru Stadium in Kottayam from May 19 to 23.
According to a press release, the recruitment is being conducted by the Army Recruiting Office, Thiruvananthapuram. It is open for male candidates from the seven southern districts of the State — Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Kottayam, Alappuzha, Idukki and Ernakulam for the categories of soldier technical, soldier nursing assistant, soldier clerk/store keeper (technical), and soldier tradesman categories, according to the release.
The reporting time for the rally is 5 a.m.

Re-enrolment of ex-servicemen of Army, Navy or Air Force into the Defence Security Corps (DSC) as Soldier general duty and soldier clerk will be held on May 20.
