: The Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) on Monday decided not to cancel the results of its MBBS and BDS entrance examinations conducted across the country, including at the Kozhikode centre. The decision followed a report by an inquiry committee headed by the former judge of Allahabad High Court, Imtiyaz Murtaza, who found no foul play in the conduct of the entrance examination.

The university had earlier decided to cancel the entrance examination in the wake of an allegation of foul play at Farook College, the Kozhikode centre.

Farook College was the only centre in South India.

The allegation was raised when a large number of Keralites who took the test at Farook College cracked the AMU entrance.

The executive council of AMU, which met on Monday, accepted the report of Mr. Murtaza.

The AMU council also termed the allegations raised by three teachers of the university “unfounded.”.
