All India Congress Committee (AICC) observer Deepak Babaria has warned that action will be taken against those fomenting factionalism in the party.

Reviewing the poll preparations as well as the election campaign in the district on Tuesday, he said he had received a few complaints over certain organisational matters. He said Congress workers were not supposed to campaign against a candidate fielded by the party.

The AICC observer visited Adoor where factional feud was evident over the selection of the party candidate. Mr Babaria also attended the filing of papers by K.K.Shaju, Congress nominee in Adoor.
