Organised majority community ruling the disorganised majority community was the bane of Kerala, said Vellappally Natesan, general secretary of Sree Narayana Dharma Paripalana Yogam.
Addressing a prèss conference at Aranmula on Tuesday, Mr Natesan said groupism in the political parties was yet another major problem facing the State.
He said the Congress (I)-led United Democratic Front succumbing to pressures of the Indian Union Muslim League for a fifth ministerial berth to the latter was a clear testimony to the eroding values in Kerala politics, he alleged.

The SNDP Yogam leader alleged that the demand for toddy ban raised by the IUML leader, E.T.Mohammed Basheer, was aimed at a particular section of the society.
Mr Natesan alleged that Mr. Basheer never had a secular face and he always stood for a particular community.
The Yogam leader has lauded the Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee president, Ramesh Chennithala, for opposing the view taken by the IUML leader. He said a ban on toddy would adversely affect the livelihood of not less than one lakh toddy-tapper families in the State.

Mr. Natesan has called upon the State government to implement the recommendations of the Udayabhanu Commission that had stressed the need to popularise toddy.
He alleged that those who have demanded ban on toddy had raised single word demanding ban on the Indian-made foreign liquor at any point of time.
NSS-SNDP unity
Mr. Natesan said the unity reached between Nair Service Society and the SNDP Yogam has got a firm footing.
He said the NSS leader, G.Sukumaran Nair had clarified in unequivocal terms that the society was not for disturbing the existing reservation benefits of the backward classes. The Yogam too had categorically pressed the NSS demand for reservation benefits for the economically backward people among the forward communities, he said.
TDB issue
He said neither himself nor the NSS leadership had put forward any claims in connection with the nominations to the Travancore Devaswom Board.
However, he said both the organisation have unitedly expressed their view that the strength of TDB should continue to be three.
Mr. Natesan also opined that the Government should take care to appoint only believers with good integrity and quality be nominated to the temple administrative body.
