Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan will tour the district on Saturday as part of the election campaign of the Left Democratic Front candidates in Adoor, Aranmula and Pathanamthitta.
LDF election office sources said Mr. Achuthanandan would address a public meeting in Adoor town at 10 a.m. on Saturday. The meeting has been organised as part of the election campaign of the Communist Party of India candidate Chittayam Gopakumar in Adoor (SC) constituency.
Mr. Achuthanandan will address an election meeting of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) candidate in the Konni Assembly segment M.S. Rajendran in Konni town at 3 p.m.

He will address the election campaign meeting of sitting MLA and CPI(M) candidate in the Aranmula constituency K.C. Rajagopalan in Pathanamthitta town at 4 p.m.
CPI(M) leader Sitaram Yechury will address election campaign meetings in various Assembly constituencies in the district on April 4. CPI(M) State secretary Pinarayi Vijayan, Polit Bureau member S. Ramachandran Pillai, CPI State secretary C.K. Chandrappan, assistant secretary K.E. Ismail and veteran trade union leader M. Sukumara Pillai will also tour the district in the next 10 days.
