Sree Narayana Dharma Paripalana (SNDP) Yogam will deploy a task force to counter ‘Love Jihad’, where young non-Muslim girls were reportedly converted to Islam and lured into marriage, said the Yogam general secetary, Vellappally Natesan.
Mr. Natesan was inaugurating a new Yogam unit at Kozhencherry on Saturday. He said the SNDP Yogam would also explore the possibility of setting up a co-ordination committee in association with various Hindu organisations to fight ‘Love Jihad’.
Mr. Natesan said the Yogam would also deploy volunteers across the State as part of an awareness campaign against ‘Love Jihad’ soon in the larger interests of protecting communal harmony in the State.

The Yogam leader further sought strict action against the forces behind the ‘Love Jihad’ movement, its funding sources and people involved in it, without any further delay.
He said such anti-social tendencies taking place in the name of religion should be nipped in the bud.
