The prime accused in the Paul M. George murder case, P. Om Prakash, and the co-accused, S. Rajesh, were taken to Thiruvananthapuram by the Tamil Nadu police on Wednesday by road.

Following the surrender of Om Prakash and Rajesh, a team of police officials from Thiruvananthapuram came to Palayamkottai on Wednesday to complete the legal formalities to take the duo to the capital of Kerala. However, the court order which stated that the accused should be produced before the Vaanchiyoor court on or before September 11 enabled the Tamil Nadu police to take the duo to Thiruvananthapuram.

Escorted by Armed Reserve Police sub-inspector Sundar Singh and four constables, the accused were taken to Thiruvananthapuram in a van around 3.40 p.m.
