Two children of a family were killed by lightning at Kadalikad near Vazhakulam in the early hours of Thursday.
The Vazhakulam police have identified the victims as Arun Das (11), and Krishna Das (4). The parents of the children were also seriously injured in the incident. The lightning struck at around 3 a.m. when all the family members were in deep sleep, police said. The house was partly damaged in the incident.
