Governor condoles Varkala’s death

Kerala Governor R S Gavai on Tuesday condoled the passing away of senior CPI(M) leader and former Lok Sabha member Varkala Radhakrishnan.

Recalling his association with the departed leader, the Governor said his contributions as a competent and committed parliamentarian were outstanding.

“A stalwart among legal expert, he was always on the forefront of the people’s struggles for social justice”, Mr. Gavai said.

The Governor shared the grief of the bereaved family and admirers of the departed leader.
