CPI(M) worker stabbed in Kannur

A Communist Party of India (Marxist) worker has been stabbed by a group of alleged Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) workers near Panur here on Wednesday.

The injured has been identified as Dineshan (29), a quarry worker. The police said that a group of assailants assaulted him and stabbed him near the quarry at Vazhamala where he was working. The incident took place at around 11 a.m. He has been rushed to a hospital at Thalassery.
