Noted Telugu short story and humour writer Bhamidipati Ramagopalam, popularly known as Bharago, died here on Wednesday.
He was 78 and is survived by his wife, two sons and a daughter. The writer was suffering from osteo-arthritis and cardiac problems. The cremation will take place on Thursday.
Bharago had retired as Deputy Inspector of Survey in the Visakhapatnam Port Trust. Winner of Sahitya Akademi for his short-stories book ‘Itlu Thama Vidheyudu,' Bharago had in all penned over 160 short-stories, three novels and 50 essays.
