BSNL has announced an unlimited free broadband usage for 15 days for all those who register for new broadband connections from July 10 to July 31.
According to BSNL Alappuzha General Manager T. Natarajan the customers can switch over to any selected tariff plan after the offer period. The modem installation charges too will be waived till July 31. The customers will have to use the connection for at least one month and the fixed monthly charges would apply during the offer period as well, though the usage is unlimited for the first 15 days.
The new connections can be booked either over the toll-free number 1555, or by sending an SMS to 94465-00555, typing “BB<space >Land phone number (without STD code).

BSNL representatives will reach the customer's door on receiving the SMS and do the necessary for installing the new connection, Mr. Natarajan said. Government employees and pensioners will have a 20 per cent discount on monthly charges and plan charges as well, he added.
