Twenty persons travelling in a mini bus were injured when it rammed the rear of a lorry.
The accident took place on the National Highway at the Puliman Junction at Karunagapally around 5 a.m. on Saturday.
Most of those injured were women and seven of them who are serious have been rushed and admitted to the Alapuzha Medical College Hospital. The others were admitted to the Karungapally taluk hospital. Those in the bus were on a pilgrimage from Kanjikode in Palakkad to the Sree Padmanabha Swamy Temple in Thiruvananthapuram.
