I might kill again, accused told father

Updated - September 02, 2016 12:06 pm IST - FARIDABAD:

“I do not want to come out. If I do, I might kill again. I would prefer to die here instead,” these are the words the father of the juvenile murder accused recalls his son as uttering as the latter left for a remand home, the second time for a similar alleged offence.

Released from a juvenile home two months ago in connection with the kidnapping and murder of a minor, the 17-year-old allegedly killed an elderly woman in South Delhi’s Lodhi Colony last month.

The motive on both occasions was money to enable him to take part in dance reality shows and carve out a niche for himself in the world of dance — the only thing he loved.

“He was so passionate about dance that he resumed practice the very day he returned from the remand home. The only thing that upset him about the remand home was missing the dance practice,” said the father.
