‘It’s aggression against India’

Indian diplomat Devyani Khobragade’s father Uttam Khobragade said on Saturday that the re-indictment of his daughter for visa fraud and making false statements about the visa application of her maid showed that the U.S. prosecutor had “no respect” for his own law.

“This is a case which can be quashed on merit... This act of re-indicting Devyani for the same charges is nothing but an act of aggression,” he said.
