A huge rally of Anna Hazare’s supporters has begun moving from India Gate to Jantar Mantar. A massive turnout is expected as large crowds pour into India Gate from all corners of New Delhi. Most protesters said they reached the venue after seeing the alert on television. Two announcements of the protest march, posted on the India Against Corruption’s community page on the social networking site, Facebook, nearly an hour ago at 3.20 p.m.. has seen a whopping 500 comments already. Over 2,000 people have also clicked the ‘Like’ button on these two posts indicating their approval and support that the march has generated.
Ramdev visits Chhatrasal Stadium
Meanwhile, Baba Ramdev on Wednesday afternoon addressed Anna Hazare’s supporters at Chhatrasal Stadium near Model Town here on Wednesday afternoon, where he criticised the attempt of the Government to suppress people’s movements with the use of force.

Referring to the June 4 midnight crackdown on his followers at the Ramlila Maidan here, the yoga guru said such attempts by the State were bound to fail. He also reiterated his primary demand for bringing black money stashed abroad back to India. Baba Ramdev said he had visited the septuagenarian leader to offer him moral support.
He also told anxious Anna Hazare supporters camped at the Chhatrasal Stadium that Anna was waiting to be granted unconditional access to a protest venue before he leaves Tihar Jail.
