Girl abducted in Punjab found in Goa

The Punjab police, with the help of the Goa police, managed to trace on Sunday a 10th standard girl who was abducted at Faridkot in Punjab last month at gun point. The girl was found at Baga beach area in north Goa.

Two of the accused involved in the abduction have been arrested, sources in Goa police said on Sunday evening.

Goa police said the teams are still looking out for the remaining accused.

According to police sources, the girl was traced while the hunt was on for some of the remaining accused.

Punjab police have arrested 13 of the 17 abductors in Punjab earlier.

City police said on Sunday that the Punjab and the Panaji police formed three teams which were put on search operations along the north Goa coastal belt on Sunday.
