ED raids in Gujarat yield ₹2.4-cr. worth liquor

The Enforcement Directorate has seized liquor worth over ₹2.4 crore and three luxury cars, which are worth ₹2 crore, during searches against the liquor mafia operating in Gujarat. The searches were carried out on Daman premises of the accused, Ramesh Patel, for his involvement in smuggling to neighbouring Gujarat, where liquor consumption is banned. More than 30 cases have been registered against the accused in various police stations of Gujarat.
