Having obtained Sudipta Sen’s custody, the ED will record his statement that would also help to identify more assets acquired through illegally generated funds.

The Enforcement Directorate has got custody of Saradha Group chairman Sudipta Sen for interrogation in connection with the multi-crore Ponzi scam unearthed earlier this year. The agency also plans to summon some of his accomplices to crosscheck his disclosures.

As earlier reported by The Hindu , the agency had moved the court seeking a production warrant against him. Having obtained his custody, the ED will record his statement that would also help to identify more assets acquired through illegally generated funds.
