Class X CBSE results delayed

A total of 13,73,853 students appeared for the Class X CBSE examination this year — a 3.37% hike compared to last year

Students anxiously waiting for their Class X Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) results will have to wait for one to two days more.

Earlier, CBSE had announced that they will declare results for Class X on May 27, but the results will not be declared on the scheduled date now.

The Board, however, hasn’t cited the reason for the delay in announce-ment. Spokesperson for CBSE Rama Sharma said: “Class X results will not be declared on May 27. Students waiting for the results will have to wait for one-two days more.”

According to sources, the results may be out either on May 28 or May 29. Students can check their results online by logging on to either of the Board’s official websites:

cbse.nic.in and
cbseresults.nic.in . Candidates who want to access their results will have to enter their roll number in either of the websites. A total of 13,73,853 students appeared for the Class X CBSE examination this year — a 3.37 per cent hike compared to last year.

The results for Class XII were declared on Monday and Delhi girl M Gayatri emerged as the all-India topper (99.2 per cent) in the Commerce stream.
