Civilian killed in grenade attack on CRPF patrol in Kashmir

Militants hurled a grenade on a CRPF patrol at Muran chowk in Pulwama, leaving a civilian dead and injuring two CRPF personnel on Friday.

Eyewitnesses said the grenade exploded near the vehicle.

The injured were shifted to hospital, police sources said.

The attack followed heavy clashes between security forces and locals. Tear smoke shells were fired to chase the protesters. Situation remains tense in the area.
