Budgam killing: Two policemen arrested

Two policemen were arrested in connection with the killing of a youth in Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday.

Earlier, already under house arrest, chairman of hardline faction of Hurriyat Syed Ali Shah Geelani on Saturday threatened to stage a sit—in protest at Partap Park area on Sunday against the killing of a youth.

He also called a shut down in entire Budgam against the killing tomorrow.

“I along with other pro—freedom leaders will stage an hour—long sit—in protest against the incident at Partap Park (in Lal Chowk) at 2 p.m. tomorrow,” Mr. Geelani said in a statement.
