Unfazed by the negative vibes emerging from the Shiv Sena camp, which has indicated that it would prefer to stay in the Opposition, a confident BJP is absolutely sure of sailing through the floor test which is likely on November 12.
“There is a long queue of legislators and senior leaders eager to support our government. And these include some big names from the NCP and the Congress,” a senior BJP leader told The Hindu , while refusing to divulge details at this juncture.
While the party central leadership was in the past not on the same page as its State unit on ditching the Sena for good , now it was increasingly veering around to the same sentiment, the leader said.

He, however, added that for the sake of a stable government the party would not dismiss the Sena and talks would continue after the swearing-in ceremony. However, there seems little development on that front.
Along with Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, a small Cabinet of seven Ministers are expected to take the oath on Friday.
“We don’t want to form a huge Cabinet before establishing a majority,” the leader said explaining the reason for the small Cabinet.
