Army foils infiltration bid along LoC in Poonch

The Army foiled a group of terrorists from infiltrating into India along the Line of Control in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, a Defence spokesman said late Wednesday.

The terrorists were trying to infiltrate from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) along the LoC in Krishnagati sector of Poonch district, the spokesman said.

The troops thwarted the bid by firing on them, he said adding there was no loss of life on this side of the LoC.
