Telugu Desam Party-Srikakulam Parliamentary wing in-charge Kinjarapu Rammohan is hopeful to revive the party with his prestigious cycle yatra which would conclude in Nimmada, native village of former Union Minister K.Yerrannaidu whose birth anniversary would be observed on Sunday.
He covered around 700 km in seven assembly constituencies such as Itchapuram, Palasa, Patapatnam, Tekkali, Narasannapeta, Amudalavalasa and Srikakulam which come under the `.
According to him, the response for his cycle yatra was good and enabled him to understand the local problems while strengthening the network in all mandals and villages which were covered during the four-week tour.

He urged people to defeat ‘corrupt’ YSR Congress and Congress Party in the ensuing elections and vote for TDP which ensured decent administration during its tenure.
“My father K.Yerrannaidu fought against the corruption in politics till his last breath. The people of Srikakulam district are fed up with the existing leaders who emassed huge wealth in the last ten years. It is the right time to defeat those leaders,” Mr. Rammohan said.
TDP leaders and activists are keen to make the closing ceremony at Nimmada as a grand success. Yerrannaidu’s statue will be unveiled at the village and a public meeting would be organised to recall the services of Mr. Yerrannaidu. Mr. Rammohan said he would take up more programmes to explain the ideology of TDP by meeting more number of people in the days to come.
