Yadagirigutta is ‘Yadadri’ now

Suitable names to be given to eight adjoining hills shortly

Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has accepted the renaming of Yadagirigutta as ‘Yadadri’ on the suggestion of Srimannarayana Chinna Jeer Swamy.

Mr. Rao had requested the spiritual leader to give a name to the hill where the shrine of Laxminarasimha Swamy was located when they undertook an aerial survey of the area on Thursday. To the eight adjoining hills, the Jeer said he would consider suitable names shortly.

The Chief Minister informed him that the government would develop the nine hills into major spiritual centres, a release of the CMO in Hyderabad said.
