‘Writers should highlight social issues’

Several eminent writers including B.V.A. Ramarao Naidu and Attada Appala Naidu strongly felt that upcoming authors should concentrate on the real issues of the society so that the readers will get enlightened over the socio-economic problems in the society. Sikkolu Book Trust published a book ‘Alay-Balay’ in Katha Nilayam on Sunday.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Naidu said social conflicts should be depicted in the books to reflect the conditions in the contemporary society. The writers Dasari Ramachandra Rao, Duppla Ravikumar Jilukum Srinivas, Baba and others discussed the social problems of Srikakulam district.
