Pilgrims bound for the temple city from Mysuru can now comfortably travel during night, as the Ministry of Railways has approved the introduction of a new weekly train up to Renigunta junction.
No. 11065 Mysuru – Renigunta junction – Mysuru express train departs from Mysuru at 2255 hours from June 1 (Fridays) to reach Renigunta at 0825 hours (Saturdays). In the return direction, No. 11066 departs from Renigunta at 1750 hours on June 2 (Saturdays) to reach Mysuru at 0315 hours (Sundays). The train stops en route at Mandya, KSR Bengaluru city, Bangaluru Cantt, Jolarpettai and Katpadi.
