We will win all 25 LS seats in Seemandhra: Vijayamma

YSR Congress honorary president Y. S. Vijayamma on Monday exuded confidence that the party would win all the 25 Lok Sabha seats in Seemandhra region and four to five seats in Telangana.

“The party will play a crucial role at the Centre if it wins majority of the Lok Sabha seats. The State will get more funds as the Centre will depend on the support of YSRC,” she said.

Addressing road shows at Kaviti in Itchapuram constituency, Pundi in Palasa segment and Patapatnam constituency, she urged voters not to believe the ‘false’ promises being made by TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu alleging that he did not have credibility and would not implement the TDP’s manifesto.

She said the interests of the downtrodden sections would be protected only if Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy was made Chief Minister.

She claimed that the poor were leading a decent life owing to the flagship programmes such as Arogyasri, fee reimbursement and others. She reminded voters about the YSRC promises such as Amma Vodi, loan waiver benefit to self-help groups, and concession on power bills. “Senior citizens will not have to worry about their future as the party will enhance old-age pensions. Farmers will also benefit with quality power supply to the farm sector,” She added.

YSRC candidate for the Srikakulam Lok Sabha seat Reddi Shanti said Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy’s promises were well received by the people.
