Water Board plans policy on revenue collection

The Water Board plans to come up with a uniform policy to mop up pending dues of Rs.300 crore from different categories of customers.

This was informed by the new Managing Director, J. Syamala Rao, at the weekly “Dial your Managing Director” programme held here on Saturday. He asked the general managers to focus on performance of all employees, particularly meter readers for improving revenue collections.

Twelve complaints relating to billing, inadequate water supply, water leakage from areas such as Motinagar, R.C Puram, Malkajgiri, Vanasthalipuram, Kachiguda were received at today’s programme held at the Water Board office.

Mr. Rao assured to redress the complaints and instructed the general managers concerned to attend the same immediately and send action taken reports to the headoffice.
