The Society is looking forward to encouraging innovative ideas and has been conducting awareness programmes in schools, colleges and universities. She said district and state-level public awareness programmes would be conducted to recognise and award innovative ideas that help solve citizens’ issues.

“Innovation society through incubation centres does not only provide the infrastructure required for start-ups but establishes an ecosystem that supports them to the maximum extent,” she said.

Short-term courses

“In Tirupati, we have provided 159 jobs to trained candidates in several start-ups. We would also introduce short-term innovation and entrepreneurship programmes in educational institutions. We have received proposals from 23 colleges so far. Innovation centres in schools and colleges would nurture innovation at a young age and provide an ecosystem to implement ideas,” Ms. Valli said.
