To keep pace with the digital advancements, VIT Andhra Pradesh is going to introduce new courses - B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence, BBA in Business Analytics, Animation and Media - in the forthcoming academic year.

“These courses are being introduced in collaboration with Toonz for animation, visual effects and gaming,” said Chancellor G. Viswanathan, at a press conference on the campus on Tuesday.

Speaking on “modern tools” of education the institution has been employing, he mentioned the open book examination pattern the institution has been using for last two years. “Drifting fromtraditional patterns of examination that assess students based on their ability to reproduce knowledge, we aim to reform the way we assess our students for an outcome-based framework,” he said. Vice-Chancellor D. Subhakar and vice-president Sankar Viswanthan explained the new courses.
