Honorary president of YSR Congress Vijayamma will undertake a hectic tour of Telangana from June 25 to July 3 to gear up the party cadre for local body elections.
Her tour itinerary was finalised at a meeting of the political affairs committee of the party here on Monday. It was also decided to hold a plenary on July 8 to coincide with the birth anniversary of former Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy. But the venue was not announced by the spokesman Bajireddy Goverdhan at the media conference after the meeting.
Ms. Vijayamma will address meetings at Medak on June 25, Nalgonda on June 26, Mahabubnagar on June 27, Khammam on June 28, Ranga Reddy district on June 29, Karimnagar on June 30, Warangal on July 1, Adilabad on July 2 and Nizamabad on July 3.

The meeting could not come to a conclusion on whether or not to hold a rally at the culmination of the padayatra by Sharmila towards the end of July at Vizianagaram or Itchapuram.
