Telanagana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) district wing will be organising various preparatory protest programmes from September 21 to 27 for mobilising public for TJAC’s ‘Sakala Jana Bheri’ planned in Nizam College on September 29.

Addressing the district wing meeting here on Friday, TJAC chairman M. Kodandaram said the district wing would be organising a meeting in Suryapet on Saturday followed by other programmes such as signature campaign, teacher unions’ meeting at Nakerkal, students’ rally and bike rallies across the district and all that would conclude with ‘Sakala Janula Sabha’ in Nalgonda on September 27 in which he himself, TNGOs’ State president G. Deviprasad and general secretary Karam Raveendar Reddy would participate.

Speaking to news persons later, the TJAC chairman accused Seemndhra leaders of creating enmity between the people of the two regions with their confusing statements over water, property share and employees’ issues. Prof. Kodandarm said that the sharing of everything would be done according to the guidelines which were followed during the formation of various States in Independent India, and the Centre would not allow injustice to any region during the bifurcation.

Stating that Seemandhra people had the right to live anywhere in India, -- even in Hyderabad -- after the formation of Telangana, he said the Seemandhra leaders were delaying the process of the State’s formation and fuelling the movement in Seemandhra.
