Three persons were killed and another was injured in two separate road accidents in Prakasam district on Monday.
Two motorcyclists, Govindu (27) and Narendra Verma (21) were killed when their vehicles collided at Pathapadu, near K.K.Mitla. According to the police, the accident occurred when Govindu overtook an autorickshaw without noticing the approaching motorcycle.
In the other accident, A. Suresh (29) was killed and L. Sudhakar, who was riding pillion, was injured when their motorcycle was knocked down by a lorry near the polytechnic at Parchur. The injured has been rushed to a hospital in Chirala.
